What is Self Installation?

ADSL Self Install is a new, simple installation process.

What is included in the DSL JumpStart Install Kit^TM?

• Ethernet DSL Modem [bridge]

• All required cables [6 ft RJ-45 Ethernet cable and 6 ft RJ-11 phone cord]
• Troubleshooting guide

What if the end-user does not wish to install their own DSL service?
Professional Installation service is still available.

Can I order Self Install with Business Class SDSL Service?
No, Self Install is not available with SDSL services.

Is Self-Install available everywhere line-sharing is?
Self Install uses line-sharing technology and it is available only where line-sharing is available.

Can I change the content of the kit?
No, the content of the kits are standard.

When can I expect to receive the DSL JumpStart Install Kit^TM?
The kit will be shipped within 24 hours after Service Order Confirmation [SOC] via 3 day ground transportation. The SOC date is usually available 5 to 7 days after ordering the DSL line.

What if I move, and I already have the DSL equipment that I need to install service - do I still need to buy a new kit?
Yes. You will need to order a DSL JumpStart Install Kit^TM when placing a new order. If you do not use the Self Install kit, you can follow the RMA process to return the kit to the Installation Support Center.
