Q. What if I move?

A. If you agreed to either the one or two year agreement, the month-to-month installation fee will be prorated for the period of time fulfilled. The modem/router would be forfeited or purchased.

Q. What if service is available where I'm moving to?
A.
Your agreement will be honored at the new address. If a different modem is needed, you will be responsible for purchasing or leasing the required modem/router. You will be responsible for the installation fee for the new address. You will be responsible for the current rate for the available speed at the new address. [top]

Q. How long does it take to get service?
A. NEW Self Install Service is as soon as 5 days! However in most cases 4-6 weeks. However, since DSL is a new technology and it requires the cooperation of several different organizations and equipment adjustments, it may be longer. [top]

Q. What if I wanted to upgrade or downgrade my service?
A. There is a one time $99 fee to upgrade or downgrade to any available speed. [top]

Q. Will I need a new separate phone line and will I receive a separate bill from the phone company?
A. No. DSL works on your existing phone line and there are no extra charges from the phone company for the DSL service with this provider. [top]

Q. Will my phone be available when I'm on the Internet?
A. Yes, You phone works as normal while you are connected to the internet 24/7. [top]

Q. Is my Internet Service included in my DSL service?
A. Yes, you will receive unlimited Internet access and email with your account. [top]

Q. What is the difference between residential and commercial service?
A. If your service is at a business address your account will be commercial. If your service is at a residence and you do not require a server or DNS (Domain Name Service) you will be considered a residence. If you do require a server or DNS (Domain Name Service), you will be considered as a commercial account. [top]

Q. What is the difference between DSL, ADSL, SDSL & IDSL service?
A. This new technology is DSL. There are 3 different types of DSL;
SDSL - Meaning Symmetrical DSL (144/144 - 768/768) Within 13,000 Ft.
ADSL - Meaning Asymmetrical DSL (144/128 - 364/128) Within 18,000 Ft.
IDSL - Meaning Inconsistent DSL (128-144/128-144 - ?/?) Within 30,000 Ft.
